Desperately seeking...?
That's normally what happens when potential students are faced with a list of possible courses and no real idea of which ones are suited to them.
The College of Estate Management (CEM) came to dreamm for a solution to this perennial problem. CEM asked dreamm to develop a gadget to sit on their new website which would help potential students identify the right courses for their requirements and knowledge base.
Working with CEM we finalised the decision flow and identified the critical information paths. Rather than create a run-of-the-mill page full of drop downs and uninspiring content we wanted to develop something that reflected CEM's brand identity and reinforced their status as a progressive organisation.
The resulting Course Finder tool was developed in Flash with an XML interface, meaning that CEM could update the content as and when required. The colours and branding are in keeping with brand guidelines and the Course Finder tool is simple and easy to use, with the ability for student to print or email results and even apply online (via a 3rd party application).
